Btw, for those living in Los Angeles, he's doing an in-store appearance at Amoeba tomorrow (August 30th) at 7pm.

I'd never heard of the dude until a post about this album a few days ago, so I downloaded two songs that I could find. I think I really like him.

I just bought a couch, though. So I don't see any music purchases in the forseeable future. F'n get here already, Christmas...says the atheist.

I dig the two albums I have (Pixel Revolt and Cellar Door).

His voice is really reminding me of someone -- anyone know who? I want to say Markus Acher (Notwist) without the (very slight) German accent, but it might be someone else entirely. Grandaddy?

It's a little more mellow than the 2 I've heard (Life and Death... and Mass Suicide Occult Figurines), but I do like several of the songs just after 2 or 3 listens. Might take another listen today, actually.

I love Cellar Door and will probably pick his new one up sometime before the end of the year.

The two songs I've heard: Trance Manual and Exodus Damage are excellent.

I look forward to buying this cd.
