In preparation for "Love Kraft's" release and purchase yesterday, I loaded up on a healthy diet of Furriness. While dieting, I was awestruck at many of the Furries similarities to the Dan (always been a big fan like FT). Yes, the Dan's sample on "Man Don't Give..." is propably a big giveaway, but as I sit here listening to "Love Kraft" for a third spin it seems apparent -- only in a futuristic way, instead of longing for the days of "My Old School."

Hmm...I always had him as the new Walter Becker. Must rethink.

For better or worse, they're also into that perfect live show thing. They rarely stray from sets they've been using for two or three or four years, and they ALWAYS close with "The Man Don't Give a Fuck."

I don't really see the comparison, though. Gruff's just some Welsh stoner who's written tons of amazing pop songs (and recently, some pretty incredible ballads).
