It's like an MST3K segue sketch gone way too full of itself.

Who knew Bruce Campbell would be such a bad director?

Well, I probably should have.

Maybe it'll achieve cult status in my head. Doubtful right now.

It looks really bad, and I mean that in a good way. Right up my alley. (I enjoy movies like Shaolin Monk vs. Evil Dead, Dead & Breakfast, etc.)

If it doesn't it must suck with the same kind of gravitational pull as a singularity, 'cuz that particular club has a pretty HUGE membership.

Sorry, the correct title drops the Monk -- link -- but...it's kind of bad. Like a cross between the kung fu wizardry that Liu is capable of, and a bad zombie movie. I mean, the IMDB description doesn't even describe the same movie I saw. (The part about reawakening a vampire? I must have missed that.)

SPOILER ALERT:

Other than the ending, it's worth watching. At the end, it's like they just sort of ran out of film. And then they continue the movie into the closing credits, and that movie looks to be even better, so it's just frustrating.

END SPOILER.

Other than that, it's worth seeing. It really is a comedy/horror/kung fu movie.

Rent, but do not own.
