You don't know that you'll get old with her in AL, nor that you'll be spending an agonizing string of pointless weekends with disposable extras who genuinely care about the fescue. Actually had this conversation with two of my girlfriends this week-- one of whom is feeling "boring" and not all like her old, stylish fun self, and the other one who is 4 months pregnant and worried that her life will be reduced to no fun spontoneity ever again. Make sure you keep your focus on the things that excite you in life. It's so easy to slide into that complacent domesticity that many people do, and put on that "everything's great, we're so happy here!" face. Things change, you're still young, and it sounds like your girl is open to new possibilities in this life.
