I think the first track off the latest from M83 is in a new Buick commercial. I think the commercial was really built around the song too. Used very well in my opinion.

If I hear that Civ song in those Nissan commercials one more fucking time, then I'm going to go shit in the back of all the Titans and Frontiers.

Anybody see that Miller High Life commercial that uses the theme music (that kinda clink-clink clink) from "True Romance"?

Pretty cool spot and I like that song (sic); reminded me of the movie.

that little jingle (isn't it hanz zimmer or some guy like that? "you're so cool"?) has been used in a buncha commercials, car and life insurance if i remember correctly. it was also a good friend's "sure fire" mixtape song for girls he wanted to bone. i don't think it worked for him very often, if ever. but the ladies did like it.

I saw a car commercial with the Buzzcocks' "Why Can't I Touch It?". I wasn't sure what to make of it.

Grandaddy was sort of highly regarded for like the six month period The Sophtware Slump was a cool album. Now people make fun of them; now they're in Honda commercials. They do suck, by the way.

Obviously, Energy for Everyone has never been to Spain... They worship Reed there.

Of course, they also consider Metal Machine Music his best album.

They're shameless over there.
