I wouldn't even mind cadillac williams. I thought the bears should have traded down and gotten another OLB. Decent draft though if Bradley pans out. I'm not sold on our cornerbacks yet. Azumah's gettin old, Vasher's an all or nothing type, tillman got BURNED a lot. It's just one game, but when the criticisms that existed are validated, it's not a good thing.

i'm totally with you on tillman. he's been getting his ass kicked so far. i just think TJ is a good enough back to worry about other positions. he had a good year last year considering the opposing defenses knew we wouldn't dare pass the ball so they stacked the line.

How old are you?

If memory serves, the Bengals played in the Superbowl in '89 and I think they won their division the next year or two. I'm assuming you're at least 25, maybe 2 or 3 years older, so of course you've been able to call other's teams fans fucking pussies---granted you might have gotten a bar of soap in the mouth from your parents for using such language at age 10, but I'm sure you did anyway. ;)

Bungles look pretty good so far. I'd like to see them keep it up.

i believe that it was 82 and 88 that they made the super bowl. still, it's been a bit of a dry spell.

The last time the Bengals won the division was in '88 when they went to the superbowl and lost. I think the next year they went 9-7 and made the playoffs, but I think that's it.

The Bengals lost over 100 games in the 90's. No NFL franchise has come close to that many losses in a decade. No major league franchise even came close to the Bengals winning, er ummm, losing percentage is the Tigers. The Bengals have sucked for a long time.

Yes, that fantastic Bengals team. Who's offense had less yards than Thomas Jones alone at halftime. The offense who went 2 - 14 on third down. The offense who punted 9 times. The offense who could only score 10 points on a rookie's four turnovers in the first half alone.

I don't want to blow the homer horn too much, because the Bears certainly played horribly. And the Bengals secondary were jumping all over the bad throws, their takeaway advantage sure doesn't seem to be an anomaly, especially after this game. But if anyone thinks the Bengals dominated this game, just take a look at the stats. That "high powered" #1 Bengals offense was back to being the same ol' Bungals.

Wasnt that first Super Bowl that the Bengals were in held in Detroit? I seem to remember my parents having a party and one of my Uncles breaking his ankle shooting hoops during halftime; Moral: dont play hoops when you are drunk and morbidly obese.

That game sucked. I think it dropped Big Ben's passer rating 400 points back to only the lower hundreds.
