The real take-away lesson from this thread (assuming there is one, which is perhaps not a given) is that you should never frequent the same board as your significant other. Gets you a built-in censor!

Never cheated but have been cheated on. It was a long time ago and hurt like hell. I'm of the same mind as cemetery and Charli-- just walk away before you cheat on me. If someone loves you, they could at least be respectful about that. As for me, I've been told I strongly put out the "married vibe" when out with girlfriends, so it would never happen.

No, it shouldn't matter if you frequent the same board or anything as your significant other. The other person should grant you enough respect to not do anything you wouldn't want them to be doing, while you're not around.

Oh boy, I've been on both sides of the spectrum and it's really lame. The 2 guys I truly loved both cheated on me, and I did it back to "get revenge." Yes, I was stupid and realized it only hurt both of us more. First time was when I was 17 (I guess that's the pattern here, right) and the other was when I was 20.

Not to sound fucked up, but in an odd way, I'm glad I experienced what I did when I was younger because if I ever were to get in those situations ever again- I would remind myself of all the pain I went though and I never ever want to feel the pain of having that done to me or doing that to someone ever again. I've also been the "other" woman, and that was no fun either. Lesson learned.
