I know that I brag about them a lot, but fuck you, my kids are amazing. And amazingly cool, too!!!

Their favorite songs right now:
"Pinhead" - Ramones
"Blitzkreig Bop" - Ramones
"Sam" - Meat Puppets
"Two-Headed Dog" - Roky Erickson
"Surrender" - Cheap Trick
"Doorbell" - White Stripes

and, while I know that this one isn't cool, it just goes along with Ethan;s obsession with rock:
"All Star" - Smashmouth
He walks around singing "Hey now, you're a rockstar" over and over. He just likes the sound of it.

Well, we don't live far from them -- Chicago area, at least.
And I actually was acquainted with their mom from when I used to play at her club.

Cool. My 6-year-old's latest faves include:

New Pornographers - "Twin Cinema"
Of Montreal - "I Was Never Young"
M.I.A. - "Pull Up the People"
Kinks - "Dedicated Follower of Fashion"

He hasn't really picked up on the Ramones yet, although I haven't been playing them much lately around him.
