Jim White's drumming has opened up a whole new world that I'm not sure that they're comfortable with. The song with Cat Power seems to be the hot topic.

I've just listened to the album once, and it's the only Dirty Three I've ever heard. I liked it. I'd be interested to see how other people feel it stacks up to their older stuff.

When did this come out?

Earlier Dirty three stuff I've heard was good. Instrumental post-rock music that's not boring to listen to.

i really thought that we'd feel more strongly about this. i don't have it with me here at work, but i do have some of Ocean Songs on my ipod and it's just WICKED good.
