a friend of mine and I have been looking for Jimmy Cliff's Give Thanx (fuckin' 'A' bubbatastic)for years, well he found it here amongst other reissues...http://www.woundedbird.com/

Any other labels/websites you all know of that strictly reissue cobweb gathering albums?

There are BB King and Waylon Jennings albums I am always waiting to be re-issued. Kind of like that suspense of On the Beach's release. It's just good.

Renascent - mostly 80s post-punk stuff

Carlene Carter Musical Shapes - basically, it's Carlene Carter fronting Rockpile, fer fucksakes. Find it, buy it, love it.

Ellen Foley Night Out - before she landed a short-lived gig on the sitcom NightCourt, Foley rocked. You'll already know her (unfortunately) from her larynx-shredding vox on Meatloaf's turgid "Paradise By The Dashboard Light", but on this album she was joined by Mott the Hoople's Ian Hunter and Mick Ronson. Great rockin' version of the Stones' "Stupid Girl" too.

Green On Red Gravity Talks - their debut full-length, sort of droney psychedelic alt.country punk whatchamacallit. Seriously good stuff.

Alan Vega Saturn Strip - ex and future mainman of Suicide, this was his, um, commercial album. Worth it for "Wipeout Beat", which made my song listmania.

I've heard this and it's not bad. Actually better than the shit she did with the Clash.

Jesus Jumping Christ you belong behind bars.

(Wanna do another swap?)

(And by swap I mean send me a bunch of shit, and have me promise to send stuff back but never actually do?)

Mostly obscure out-there jazz and stuff, but the saga of the esp label and its recent resurrection after many years is interesting. And you can get yr Fugs on there.
