that shit last night was just fucking sad. I mean, can they have ONE more injury? Watching Bret at the end of the game just standing there was kinda rough I think for anyone who understands what he means to this team.

Oh well...

GO FALCONS!!!

Yea, I don't think GB is as bad as people are saying. The last three games came down to the wire. Losing by 2, then 1, then 3 just sucks the life out of ya.

I still think they're going to make the playoffs. Laugh if you like.

There's probably some graphic somewhere linking Favre's performance to the state economy, and I'd be tempted to believe it.

They might win the division. Like Dan Patrick said yesterday, being idle is the best way to move up in the NFC Central.

This division is insane, and still anyone's to win.

If the Pack don't beat the Saints at home this weekend, though, I'm officially giving up all hope.

I've been wondering this for a few years now -

can anyone tell me what's so great about the Packers coach? Dude seems like nothing special at all to me, but he sure seems to get a lot of respect. And a contract extension before the season, if I recall.

as a packers fan, it was ridiculous to watch that game last night. people dropping like flies everywhere, the defense not tackling and playing poorly in big spots. things were just absolutely ridiculous. robert ferguson had that reception wrestled away from him in the red zone and next thing you know it goes from being just about 1st and goal for the packers to 1st and goal for the panthers. what a disaster. i hoped everything wouldn't come crashing down around favre like this so badly.

sherman is a mess. i don't know why holmgren had to be impatient and not stick around for one more season, he could have been gm and coach like he wanted and everything would have been okay. mike sherman sucks and he can't hire anybody to run a good defense.

and oh, how i miss our offensive line of the last couple of years. rivera, wahle, tauscher, winters, flanagan. last night was a joke.

You're right about everything but the contract extension. I think if he got one it was just for this year. He'll be gone next season. I always watch the game with a friend of mine and we were talking last night about how weird this team will look next season. Favre will retire, Green should not be resigned, draft Reggie Bush + a new offensive line, sign some solid defensive free agents. Not that all of this will necessarily happen but given the way this season is going...

I'm a huge Packer fan and hate to see what's sure to be Favre's last season end up like this. I predict 5 wins and second place in the NFC North at the end of the season. The winner of this division will be 7-9.

I won $110 in my office pool. I bet on the Packers to cover the 7.5 point spread. I fell asleep on the couch during the 3rd quarter when they were getting their ass handed to them and woke up in the 4th when they were down 32-21. It was pretty cool to watch Farve run the entire team. He single-handedly kept the Packers in the game. The team around him is in shambles, but he kept it together (in the 2nd half). Dude is one of the best ever.

as long as the rest of the division keeps playing like crap, the pack have a shot *as long as* they can win their divisional games. already 0-1 there.

i'm a pack fan and the season has been the sadest it's been since pre-majik-man. looking forward to a solid 1st round pick come 2006.

Why, so they can get another Tony Mandrich?
