Swervedriver - Mezcal Head
Boards of Canada - Music Has the Right to Children

I know discostu is a tireless supporter of both of these bands but I can't find either one of them at my local shop. I'm not a huge fan of electronic music but I have heard too many people gush over MHTRTC. My interest is piqued.

Is that Swervedriver album out of print?

Also, hey Stu, how is the new Lake Trout? I'm kinda curious about those guys as well.

Sorry for the blatant request but I've been wanting to hear these for a while now......

The new Lake Trout is pretty good from what I've heard of it...

And I was actually listening to that Swervedriver album the other day, but its a burned copy.

Thought Rick would bump this but PM me instead:

I posted that Swervedriver album for Rick, if anyone wants a Zip of it while it’s fresh let me know.

I also have their new compilation Juggernaut Rides on sleosck if you want some remastered and hard to find songs by them. In fact been adding my singles collection to my files as well, Blur is proving very popular with the Boo Radleys (mainly Find the Way Out anthology) coming in second. I’m still at the very beginning and will open a thread when I have a few more files up. If you have trouble finding me I’m always in the ‘obner’ room along with the normal handful of regulars.

Benjy, let me see if I can get those up on You Send It. I guess I'll put BoC up since BeeOk took care of Swervie.

You can listen to the new Lake Trout at their website. It loads up when you go to the page.

Stu, you've been shilling for that Swervedriver forever so I figured it's tiime I got around to edu-ma-cating myself.

You coming down for the Auburn game?

In case you missed my post yesterday, the Truckers are playing the Saturday of the Tech/UGA game again this year at the Tabernacle.

I'll be in Chicago during UGA/Tech game. No DBT at the Tab reunion for me. I WANT to go to Aub/UGA game, but don't know if the $$ will be there. I'm planning a trip to NYC during November.

The Lake Trout record is good. It's a little more modern-rock sounding than indie sounding. I guess it's a case of production?

You'll love Swervedriver. Perfect driving record. BoC is one of my all=time favs, but it's more for a chill-out session.

It's been to long since we've hung out. I gotta change that.

Did no one else read this as Swervedriver/Blue Oyster Cult?

That Lake Trout album is kind of weird -- it doesn't sound like any other Lake Trout album I've heard. Probably my least favourite of all of them.
