I don't think it's out until next week. The 2-cd thing is supposed to be mainly a UK release so might be hard to come by here, don't know. But if you go to places like amazon they only list it as 1 cd. Maybe if you buy it right when it comes out some of the stores will have it. That's always kind of odd when a band goes back and re-records their old songs, and from what I've read they don't really sound much different. Woulda been fun if they could've gotten some of the bands that are all over that GoF sound today to do some of the songs on the second disc, like Franz Ferdinand and Futureheads and all those. Dandy Warhols? Pretty versatile band, but that's a strange one, huh?
Speaking of students of post punk, I just picked up the Javelins debut called No Plants Just Animals and it's a lot o fun. I guess they probably learned more from The Feelies, and actually sound a little like Les Savy Fav too, but still have that hip swinging post punk sound at heart. Yeah, I know, you've probably already seen them a few times
