Is it proper to give someone a copy of a great mix that you received from someone else? Or, is it ok only if you credit them? Do you need to ask their permission?

In August, I got probably the best one I've ever got in my ermm...20 years of swapping and I want to share the love w/ a fellow swapper. Is this that too much like mix cd swinging?

m.xo.

Yeah, mention that it's from so and so. I sometimes feel guilty having certain songs in common with other people, let alone whole mixes.

You definitely don't need permission. I mean, that person didn't get permission from the artists, now did they? That's foggin' rediculous.

i'd at least mention that you didn't make the mix.

and i'll give you $5 to stop saying "swapping"

Same with me. My now famous "Roadtrip to San Diego" mix got copied and traded to all the local pals.
