A small selection of VEILS shows have been taking place in Europe with the new line up, the most recent of these can be found below.
THE VEILS are confirmed to begin sessions for their second album in Los Angeles with legendary producer Nick Launay. He has made records with such luminaries as TALKING HEADS, NICK CAVE & THE BAD SEEDS, PUBLIC IMAGE LTD., LOU REED and THE SLITS to name but a few - we're all very excited to hear what this partnership will bring.
New live dates are being announced all the time, though full tours of Europe and the States are not scheduled until very early next year once recording has finished.
ABC NEWS are to use the now strangely prophetic 'Valleys of New Orleans' in an international benefit to help aid the families of victims of hurricane Katrina. This strictly non-profit event is to be called 'Shelter From The Storm' and will be screening in over 100 countries worldwide.
He's done some dates at the Hotel Cafe in LA previously and am hoping the band will do share their new stuff while recording their new album. *crossing fingers*
