Saw part of it this evening while at work and doing audio-visual assessments theatre-to-theatre, and at one point, Monty (Ryan Reynolds) and Serena (Anna Faris) are having it out in front of their co-workers about how to pick-up chicks, and such, and she says, -

"Calvin, unless you want to trawl for girls at the playground during recess at the middle-school, don't listen to anything Monty says".

I felt right-proud at that moment.

I give this film -

I wanna see this, but I have a feeling all the good parts were in in the previews, and the previews weren't even that great....Bu, I will see it just on Emanuelle Chiriqui's behalf...

I wanted to see it knowing that Chi McBride and Luis Guzman perform very well in ensemble pieces, and often make the shows in general good.

Now, I want to see it since there is some primo eye-candy in it. Namely, Anna Faris, but the doll playing the restaurant hostess isn't bad either.

Plus, there's power-muff in a cameo toward the end... Not to give anything away, of course.

In the previews, the hocking up the lung cookie for someone who complained about their food really disturbed me. I know it happens because several of my friends in the food industry joke about it.

lesson: never ever piss off the staff and let your food get out of your sight after it hits your table.

That's why the only places at which I'll eat are Comet and Johnny V's. I have been going to the latter for years, and seen very little turnover in staff, so they know me, and respect me (that I give large tips (usually, twenty-five percent)). And the former, though I have yet to achieve the status of regular, I get on well with the staff... They think that I'm corny, and prolly a little weird, and quite possibly crazy, but I am pleasant enough to them.
