I can't wait for the Sox/Cardinals world series. My family (consisting of White Sox, Cardinals and a cub fan) is going to be in an uproar.

Hmmm...it definitely had a happier ending than '86, but the stakes weren't as high (LDS vs. LCS). Yesterday's game was much more of a marathon-length battle of attrition, where '86 was like one of those turn-of-the-century 46-round bare-knuckle boxing matches (the old John L. Sullivan days). More intensity/urgency from the players in '86, but there was obvious focus for all six hours yesterday. Man, this is a really, really tough call. I think I personally liked yesterday's game more, but baseball purists/historians will probably still consider '86 a better game.
