i almost picked up "z" today but when i flipped it over there was a whole wanring section on the back saying what computers and cd players it would or wouldn't work on. i saw that it was only compatible with windows media and wasn't sure if it'd work as an mp3 or aac on my ipod. will it work for me?

so, anyway, i obviously didn't pick it up. i'm so fucking turned off by this shit. if you want to put a label on the back saying piracy is illegal fine, but this whole "you gonna listen to it the way we want you to listen to it" b.s. is starting to bug me and, for the first time ever, it caused me to put back an album i would have otherwise bought :(

. . . thanks for letting me vent.

Don't feel bad, I feel the same way you do about this. Screw those fuckers. Wait for somebody to convert to mp3, find it, then burn it yourself.

That's my motto anyway.

No copy protection on Fiona's album - it was all talk, apparently. I can confirm - I bought it the other day. There's nothing on the outside, and the disc rips just fine in Windows with nary a problem nor any attempt by any software to invade my computer. Run - buy!
