I was talking with the girlfriend on the phone earlier and actually got a response I wanted to hear to the "What are we drinking tonight?" question. Usually the answer is, "I'm not drinking!"

So I picked up a bottle of Sailor Jerry rum. First time I've tried it, and it's pretty good. She's drinking Skyy, and we're watching a replay of Bill Maher cuz we missed it on Friday.

I know I'm starting this thread pretty late on a Sunday, and tomorrow is a work day for most. But I'm off. Anyone else boozin'?

I am. It's Canadian Thanksgiving, so no workie tomorrow. I've been drinking vodka and 7, which I haven't had in awhile and tastes ridiculously good right now.

A jack and coke would be pretty sweet right now.

The episode of Bill Maher from last week was great.

Ann Coulter and Ben Affleck must be destroyed!

Had I not had to work, I should have been drinking something.

I knew that the Bengals were bound to lose at some point, but to Jax? This year? Right now?

I think that Leftwich is impressive, but the rest of that team... Woefully inconsistent.

Cincy is still Super Bowl bound, though.

I found it lifeless...but yeas, Coulter (OPENLY A MAN!!) needs to be destroyed. Possibly the dumbest right wing hack going today.

Oh, and I drank Mimosa's and a few Flying Dogs (and dropped the rest on Bloor's porch, after my gf broke one in his kitchen) then got home, ate BBQ, drank 2 Sierra Nevada Pale Ale's watched Russert and went GAR.

And guess what? The gf dropped the one unbroken Flying Dog on the kitchen floor (she was gahhh);

I had some beers and one beam/coke yesterday afternoon but nothing last night; after putting up with houseguests all day, I wanted peace and quiet.

Final tally of that 12 pack: 6 drank,6 BROKEN..Jesus Bubba, we did better when we were AAAAHHH!!!
It was nice to visit Redlands, but it was sort of like being a stranger in my own home...dunno what I feel about that, but I know as I drove away, cranking the new MMJ, it felt like the end of a serious chapter in my life.

What a freakin' wasted night. The girl ended up doing too many shots, and I put on the 80s channel on XM radio. Last thing I remember.

"Now we're back on the chain gang, HUH!"

Is "gahhh" a reference to being non-culpably GAR, like the person's re-TAR-ded or something?

No, GAAAAAAH or Ahhhhhh or Maaaahh are all variations on being hammered.

Instead of "I was wasted" it is "I was Gaaaah" or "dude, we goit aaaaah last night"

Imagine what Larry Hagman, Frank Sinatra or Mickey Mantle would say, if they had their tie loosened, scotch #6+ in left hand, right before they backhanded a "broad." Yep.

Yeah, I actually meant that she was mahhhhhhh (drunk) as opposed to gahhhhh(smacked me around) though the result was pretty much the same I suppose.

So, the expression 'beer before liquor, never been sicker' is a lie?
