Somewhere along the line I picked up Deliverance and enjoy it as a slice of irony-free swaggering rock. But I have also heard that they switch up quite a bit between releases. Any other recommendations?

i picked up hi fi way from my local library over the weekend. only listened to it once so far, but i was quite impressed with it.

I'd rank their albums like so:

1. Dress Me Slowly
2. You Am I's #4 Record
3. Deliverance
4. Hourly, Daily

I didn't list their first couple of albums, which are merely okay (unless you're a rabid You Am I fan).

they are a solid, underrated band.
