Imagine the guitar at the top in a tobacco sunbust finish...

Wish I could find a hi-res pic, but this'll have to do.
I love that damn guitar.

Good for you, Todd. I have three Epiphones: 1970 6830 acoustic (only made one year), EJ-200, and a Sheridan II. Great guitars for the money.

i've said it before and i'll say it again...i don't like my seagull acoustic.
neck is too thick and the strings hurt my fingers (even more than regular strings).

anyone want to trade?

I had a Seagull 12-string.
Sold it to make some cash to record the HoP record.
I never liked the neck either and never played the damn thing. It sounded nice, but the feel was all wrong. Flat, wide neck... ugh.

Seagull = excellent construction/$ ratio, but waaay too thick a'necks.

Only epi I have is a 75-78 (they didn't serial these for some reason, can't date it) Scroll model electric. Sortof a goth-ish SG, before there were goths. If I had images here, I'd dig one up. They're very unique.

Seagulls are also got damn heavy. The body must be like 1/2" all around or something.

I have a Epiphone PR-5E Acoustic Electric and a Epi Dot Deluxe Special Edition Sunburst. They are probably my two favorite guitars in my collection.

If you can get your hand around the neck, they're usually about the best in their price category. That's not saying much, but still.

My Epi was actually about as much as a Seagull.
Sounds nice and plays about a thousand times better.
Ask Matt how it plays -- he borrowed it at an open mic a couple of months ago.

I'll tell you what, it performed a lot better in the clutch than my guitar did :x
