I think it's mcdonalds, where the band comes out to an empty club, and then the camera cuts to a party, and then the band is rocking to a huge crowd.

I think it's mcdonalds.

I'm not quite sure what a commercial like that would have to do with fast food, but commercials don't really make sense anymore.

It's Kinky. Not sure about the song, though. Probably something new.

The concert is empty because everyone is playing McDonald's Monopoly game.

Makes sense, right?

Well that explains everything...I think.

I can't really say, I haven't seen the commercial. My tv broke two weeks ago and I haven't got the capital to get a new one right now.

The BK Joe one cracks my shit up.

The NFL ones are good, too.

I like the "Wake up with the King" one, and the one where he is in the back seat of the car when the dude looks in his mirror.

... T. Herman Zweibel, I deny your request of asylum within my demesne. I must politely ask you either to put on your uniform, and commence operation of the register, or leave, with your man-servant, Standish, in tow, then. Otherwise, I will have to involve the constabulary in this matter...

The ad folks at Burger King must be some fun people. They dream up the Hootie cowboy shtick which, while ugly, definitely grabbed your attention... then make the "king" of Burger King a scary bastard that tempts you with their food.

Apparently the ad campaign is working because I love their commercials.

I saw a Sears commercial the other night with "Phantasies" by Stephen Malkmus. I love that song, but it was certainly jarring to hear it in that context.
