yeah, i'm a fan. their bright like neon love is pretty good. it's like a more synth-poppy phoenix. i play them out occasionally to decent response. i missed the franz ferdinand show and then they played a headlining show, but i missed that one too on saturday.

i love these guys. tania- they're playing the echo on the 7th. i'm probably going to that show.

i friken missed 'em at the dfa showcase because my friend was too drunk.

but they're playing a few shows here in la next month, so i'll definitely
be checkin them out.

They're opening for TV on the Radio & Franz Ferdinand at the Greek on the same night, then playing the Echo later. If I don't somehow get my way in to the FF show, then I'm going to see them at the Echo.

Hey, Dri, I think you've got your dates confused. They're playing on October 10th, a Monday, with Foreign Born.

they are playing on the 7th @ the greek.
the 10th is @ the echo. my bad.

i'll be at the show on the 10th most likely... too many shows coming up damn it!

i saw these guys a couple of years back, but i thought they took the whole eighties new wave electronic revival a little too seriously...

ok so i saw cut copy last night, and it was a great show.

they started off with dropping the beats to daft punk's "around the world" and then went into "future." the rest of the show had a lot of energy and kids were dancing and all over the place.

i wouldn't say they sound like phoenix... more like daft punk if you ask me. the keyboardist was wearing a cassius shirt so i'm thinking a lot of their influence is from french house (which is totally fine by me).
