took my kids home tonight and was introduced to one of the (many) guys my ex cheated on me with when we were still together. shook his hand, mutterred "herpes laden maggot" to myself and went on my merry way.

and that's just it. my merry way. no residual anger, weirdness, depression.

i'd like to personally thank chicago phil--that's epa to you--for all of his support from the very beginning. when i was down he schemed up plots from dismantling her new $40,000 suv to oh, things i won't even repeat.

he's a bud.
and i owe him a huge e-mail.

I love that feeling. After you've been feeling terrible over something for a while, it's really liberating to realize you just have stopped giving a shit.

This goes towards my biological mother. I was really affected by my situation with her for a while but I emancipated myself from her not too long ago, and I felt like i'm assuming you do, right now. It's nice. All of this still affects me in certain ways, but I don't find myself wondering why things happened the way they did or what was wrong with me or why couldn't things have been better. I just don't care anymore.

I love it!

I'm happy for you. :D

You are older than you are. Does that make sense?

Good, because if you neared not making it I would have had to move down a few exits on 91 and, I don't know, repeatedly smacked you in the face with a picture of Mary Tyler Moore every day until you realized that with my help. Help by smacks. Smacks of love.

Yeah I think it's one of the hardest things to learn in life: To let go and move on. Congrats on doing so. 8)

Phil is definitely good people...then again, it takes good people to know good people. What I'm trying to say is...Laura, I can only aspire to be like you.

Been there, too Laura.
It's no fun.
Glad to hear that you're getting through it and feeling good and stuff.
You da' woman.

And Phil is a hella cool guy, for sure.

Yeah, i've got soft spots for people who've been cheated on, having been one repeatedly. REPEATEDLY.

And yeah, i'm a little protective and vindictive. I'll still kill her, just say the word.

I'm playing Cleveland on NYE, that's just close enough for her to have an accident driving home New Year's Day. oops. She must have gotten drunk, and broken into the zoo, who knew she'd pass out in the siberian tiger den's moat?

But let's not have a "who's been cheated on thread" cause i don't need to dig up my past today.

Laura, I'm proud of you babe.

I wish i was well adjusted.
