Hey come on, Madlib mediocre? Whether you like his personas (Quas, etc.) or not you have to admit he can make an amazing jazz-flavored beat.

I'm not keen on the majority of the stuff i've heard from him. I do dig the Quasimoto album, but find his jazzier bits kinda uninteresting. If that's the sound I'm looking for, he's the last person that I turn too.

Whaaaat? You would be the last person that I could imagine being into Quasimoto. Well, maybe after Loogar at least.

it's in my top 5 HH releases this year. love how bizarre and raw it is.

boring bars where you hate everyone, but when you're geeked out of your mind, you can actually tolorate speaking to them

as a good time to do coke? That's the main reason I don't like doing it much because you have to listen to some numbnuts talk 300 mph about some completely stupid topic they won't remember in 8 seconds..

the only reason I could think of to do it at a college football game is if you can't handle your booze. and maybe if you're doing it off a cheerleader's ass or something. You need that drug to sit on your ass with beers and yell?

well, it actually makes you think that what you're working on at the time is brilliant, when it's usually mediocre or just plain shit at best.

speak for yourself.

i find i'm at my most creative when really high and really sleep deprived. At my least probably when i'm half-drunk. when I'm all drunk I get good ideas, but they aren't the most legible shit in the morning.

I prefer nothing but good fresh air (between hits off the j). I'd take the good herb anyday if I knew it was good stuff that wasn't gonna knock me on my ass and render me useless and paranoid.

What is up with meth? This question kind of blends in with the reunion thread because I had a high school buddy call me out of the blue bragging he finally kicked the habit but knew of tons of people back in my small town hooked on the shit or in prison because of it and that's why he moved recently.

What's up with the meth situation?

Meth is the biggest public health hazard facing our country right now. Cheap, easy, and apparently highly addictive...and then you burn your children in a trailer fire.

Run away fast when you see that shee coming.

college = marijuana >>>>>>>>>> alcohol

now = alcohol > marijuana

problem is, after 4-5 beers, i really want to smoke a bowl.

favorite times for pot now = friday night at home with my wife listening to some tunes and cooking dinner, watching a movie, etc.

CAMP certainly does NOT like pot. They like to swill their NoCal brews, but when it comes to pot, they like to haul it off in dumptrucks.
