He's 6.
And he can read.
Better than you, probably.

It's cool and fun.
I'll buy just about anything for Cary to encourage him to read.
He already has a subscription to Mad Magaaine -- inappropriate as that can be for someone his age. And it's paid off. When it comes to reading, he's even ahead of some of my wife's 5th Graders. And he is in kindergarten.

Comic books, MAD, Field & Stream...
just about anything shy of Fangoria, Playboy, and Mercenary is okay with me, as long as he reads it himself.

My favorite was the fastest car:
The Blue Flame
or something like that.
It looked like a blue rocket with wheels and went more than 350 mph.
So cool.

And the world's longest limousine. It had a swimming pool in the trunk! I think it was like 109 feet long or something.

I thought they were mopeds, but I guess when yer one of the World's Fattest Twins you make pretty much anything you hop on look like a moped.

About 10 years ago I bought a year-old copy of the Guinness book for a buck at a book sale, brought it home, & put it in the bathroom. For sheer "entertainment in the can" bang for my buck it was probably the best dollar I ever spent.
