well, i went, and it wasnt all that bad. they were on a cross canada promotion tour, so they made a big entrance on a 737, did some interviews and played. longest soundcheck EVER. they soundchecked for an hour for a 5 song set. and the sound? absolutely awful. way to loud (they had enough sound for an arena, yet playing in a space about the size of a mid to small sized club), and echo galore. my head tells me they were trying to defeat the huge echo by drowning it out in sound, but my gut tells me the mixer was an idiot. so, my final impressions? well, i dont hate nickelback as much as i thought i did *ducks*. but 96% of their stuff is still god awful.

Did they do a medley of those two songs are are the exact same tempos and chord progressions. That would be awesome.

This is why I usually bring disposable earplugs to every concert I go to no matter what. I even wore earplugs at the NIN show, which took place in a huge arena.
