They're a band that I (and I think Elvis Fu and ayah, maybe 1 or two others) like. Because I am able to glom onto katie's journalistic connections, I got to write up an interview for a magazine. Just read it, man.

hey, aaron--i enjoyed this. it's well written, concise and not full of the overblown personal testimonies a la pitchfork. i like his attitude about his music. i will be checking this cd out.

an aside: favorite phrase from the article: "moist and morbid"

thanks, laura - i'm glad you liked it! in all, i liked "the rats are coming" better than the new album, but there are some great tracks on this one.
