i have been on the phone with:
my sister in chicago
my sister in phoenix
my cousin in chicago (38th and campbell, baby!)
my cousin in santa monica
and we are all APESHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!

i'm going out tomorrow to buy a jumbo bag of salted peanuts in the shell because i KNOW my grampa is coming back from the dead and we're gonna listen to the world series on the radio in his backyard at 43rd & hermitage.

i cannot fucking believe this. i won't fall asleep until wednesday.

my kids hate watching sports and think i am certifiable.
i get nuts. they're used to it but this...this is going to make march madness look like a nice, quiet yoga retreat around here.

The Brewers got good value in that trade, though.

So, it worked out for both sides... Though Carlos Lee is missing out on a WS because of it.

As long as they don't mess up the team in the off-season, the Brewers will definately put up quite a fight in that NL Central.
