Cause I'm on track 9 already and this is really forgettable. I've just found it really easy to not pay attention to. I'm playing solitaire and I'll look up and forget that it's playing.

Yeah I downloaded the new album and have yet to attempt to listen to it. I'm trying to decide if it's worth paying $20 to go see Feist open up for them.

Top 5 for me as well. I guess it depends on what you call a grower too. At the first listen I wasn't blown away, but I was definitely impressed by what I heard. After the next couple, I was totally hooked. I've heard it about 5 or 6 times now and I keep hearing new things on it. The EP's not bad either.

I like that song with something about water in the title. Tidal wave or typhoon or whatever.

Yes, it's a grower without a doubt. However, I think it'll wind up being a more rewarding album with time than YFiiP, which I've grown pretty bored with. This album has much less of a defined form, which is saying something since the last one was all over the place. But this is "undefined" in a different way - it's more of a challenge, like there are a lot more musical mysteries to uncover here. It's too bad it came out so late in the year - I think it's going to take more time to really grow comfortable enough with it to know where it stands my tops-o-year list. Right now, I simply haven't made enough time to really get to know it yet.

I think I enjoy it more than You Forgot It In People. Shit is a riot. And great for driving.

You should pick it up if you're a BSC fan. It's not as innovative or diverse as You Forgot It In People, but it's a solid rock album.

I love the production but most of the songs are pretty bad. Track 2 is good, though.

Yup. It's getting better. I'm not sure it'll ever pass YFIIP though. That album's ridiculous.

Definitely a grower. All I heard was noise on first listen. The vocals and the melodies are starting to rear their pretty heads after a few listens.

i agree with OPA!
at first, it seemed like too much going on at once in some of the songs. but after a few listens, it all started making sense to me and the album keeps getting better.

I don't see it. I think they sound more like Caribou / Manitoba actually.
