Ouch. Yeah, that's tough.

I look at my friends who have just dropped $100 + on drinking at a bar during a weekend and then I don't feel so bad about my music purchases.

I'll back up Derek- I have a few sweaters/long-sleeve shirts from Urban. Once in a while I'll swing by to see if anything's on sale. That said, I never buy anything from there at full price. But they have some decent stuff sometimes and they usually have shirts that fit me- I have a hard time finding clothes that fit, because a) I'm not a particularly big guy and b) most of america seems to like wearing clothes two sizes too large for them.

Shee, I sometimes do that in one night. Doesn't mean I don't feel bad the next day, though.

yeah, if anything, watching my friends drop $100 on CDs helps me to justify having a great time out at the bar. It's when I don't remember it the next day I get pissed.

When I hit 25 I stopped smoking & going out to bars on a regular basis.

When I hit 26 my checking account balance had gone from a few hundred bucks a year before to about $3000.

Wife and I were walking around and we went in one once...thought about spending too much on some t-shirt that had a girl on it wearing a cowboy hat and she was all divided up into cuts of meat. Didn't have my size anyway...heard they got some shit over the shirt though. Everything looked really expensive to me, but I generally shop at Goodwill or some such place. It seemed no more or less offensive than your general trendy clothes store.

Yeah I love it.

Their website is doing like 100x the business their retail store is, btw. Well-designed and trendy content, with lotsa mentions in fashion mags, from what I hear.

I'm not gay.

well, not to mention the fact that there are only a few actual retail stores, and one of them is in wisconsin. and for being so outrageously expensive, the store doesn't really have much clothing in stock.

full disclosure- i buy my jeans there, and will spend $170+ on a pair if they fit and look good.

The wife wants to work for their website. It is apparently quite the shiznit right now in fashion e-tailing.

I think I'm going to go to Urban this weekend... now that I found out I can get 50% discount, those pricey Diesel jeans I want are starting to look reaaaaaaaally good. :D
