So I was on the fat possum site looking at information on the Heartless Bastards, and I saw they were releasing a record for a band called deadboy and the Elephantmen. So I clicked on the more info button. Turns out the band is from Houma and lives here. They're opening up for the Heartless Bastards on tour. Kind of weird.

I tried to find somebody of that sort that I could like that nobody else did - because everybody would adopt his group, and his group would be _it_; someone weird like Captain Beefheart.
