i can only get one. i'm poor.

animal collective - sung tongs (not that familiar with these guys)
ride - nowhere (classic)
devandra b - rejoicing (haven't gathered the enthusiasm to check this out yet)
herbie hancock - chameleon (haven't heard it)
starflyer 59 - talking voice vs singing voice (good, but they've done better)
wilco - a ghost is born (didn't really get into this one as much as YHF or Summerteeth)

And yes, I can also recommend Curve's Pubic Fruit and slowdive - souvlaki.

Eminem - Encore

Be careful. I'm probably the biggest Eminem fan on this board, but I really don't get much replay value out of this one at all. There's just way too many "silly" songs.

I read a lot of horrible reviews for it, which is why it was the first Eminem album I didn't purchase on its release date. However, I recently downloaded some tracks again and for some reason, they're starting to grow on me. I dunno, maybe I like how the album's so odd and messed up, like he just went into the studio and dicked around for a few weeks.

I like The Massacre a lot and people seem to hate that one, so maybe I should give Encore a shot.
