Here's the deal. Homecoming yesterday at school. 7th period pep rally (just what coaches love). Students are mildly rowdy, cheerleaders and dance team are doing their thing, y'know. Little contest between classes to see who can be loudest. Winning class gets showered with candy. As this begins, sound person starts up a song that I've never heard before and as soon as the first beat hits, every black kid in the gym just goes absolutely NUTS!! They're bouncing around, girls dropping and shaking that azz, actually falling out onto the BB court. Administration has to shut down the sound system to regain some order. I asked the players after the pep rally was over to tell me what song that was. They say "Laffy Taffy". Never heard of it. Someone enlighten me. I haven't seen reaction to a song like that since Metallica kicked out "For Whom the Bell Tolls". I've been to allmusic, no luck.

Hey Peter. You've been pretty sweet since Easter break."
