The age-over-talent argument gets about as old for me as the "heart-and-soul" of a team canard that gets thrown out whenever a team trades a "popular" player (LoDuca to the Marlins in '04; Dodgers still make playoff, Marlins left at home) or a key piece (As send Hudson and Mulder away, hastening a rebuilding year (fuckers still won 88 games)).
