yeah, well bit torrent sites still destroy Soulseek, on many levels.

1. advance releases are almost always released on torrent sites first.

2. the more users that share a torrent, the faster you get it. i've gotten full albums in less than 2 minutes before. Soulseek cannot do that. fuck waiting in line, i don't have the patience.

Na na na na. I’m right no I’m right!

This board drives me crazy at times. I was talking about one community and not the whole network. The RIAA and MPAA have been concentration on bittorrent more than any other network that is out there. Sure things may show up on that network first but is on slsk within 15 minutes. I know how that network works with the more you use it the better your status becomes but Fuck that I don’t have the time. I wait in slsk line with albums taking a whole 5 minutes or less to download now with all my connections throughout the thing it doesn’t take any time whatsoever.

 yeah right.

your connection is 10.6, and mine is 14.7. an album on soulseek takes much longer than 5 minutes.

I have a brand new computer with dl speed at +60.0 and people upload from me at around 30.0. I'm using my same name that I used with my old computer so that speed hasn't caught up to reality yet.

I know this is the let’s suck Dale’s dick board but fuck you aren’t always right but should be renamed.

doesn't the other person's connection determine the d/l speed? i mean i have a cable connection. and while i'm only at 26.3, if i d/l from someone over 125 or something it comes in really fast...
