You should only have to come to the very tail end of the bridal shower to help haul the stuff away. That's all Josh had to do.

I've always thought making the man go to the showers was really unfair to do to them. It's a girls only thing generally. I'm sure you can get out of it somehow.

yeah, i think that's what she wants me there for, to open gifts, haul them away. still though, even in doing that i'd have to drive back that night since it's a 6/7 hour drive so it doesn't matter.

when all three of those failed in year one i pretty much gave up setting ground rules. now i'm lucky if i can get her to iron a shirt, although she suspiciously sucks at ironing so i usually do it myself.
