I'll also throw in on the frying thing: It's so goddamn good.

Shit, maybe I can get my folks to do it this year.

<====still scared shitless of hosting Thanksgiving at his house.

Have only had it once but loved it. Can't make a comparison to baking as I enjoy both. Every one needs to try it at least once.

A little late to this party but I'll throw another recommendation for the deep frying of the Turkey. Infinitely better than traditional methods.

We fried one for New Years Day a couple years ago. So. Damn. Good.

Pretty easy too albeit a bit more pricey due to the cooking oil.

Just drop in, fry, take out, carve her up. Whip up some cream corn, green beans, stuffing, cran sauce and you're ready to get your gorge on.

you can drain it through cheese cloth and reuse a couple of times or you can invite some sluts over for thanksgiving turkey oil wrestling.

Busty's folks do this every year, plus they inject the turkey with seasoning first. I had the priviledge of getting some leftovers one year, and even a day later, microwaved, that was Good Shit. Dried-out, baked turkey tastes like dogfood afterwards.

Fried turks is some crispy moist goodness. You will never want to go back to oven-baking them.

Do yourself a flavor and use an injector to squirt some of those flavor juce concoctions they have available for trukeys and the like into the bird before you fry it. The hot oil crisps up the outside of the turkey when you lower it in and locks the stuff inside. It keeps the turkey super moist and delicious. I dig "cajun" flav.
