There was this website that would allow you to compare bands and such, but I can't remember the site address. It was kinda like each band was in a circle, and the bigger the circle was the bigger the band. And other bands would be listed all around and the closer the band was to the one in question, the more alike they were. It looked kinda like a solar system/molecular setup of sorts.

Does this ring a bell with anybody?

I don't get that site. I just went and entered Mclusky and the closest ones were Spoon, The Rapture, Broken Social Scene and The Notwist, none of which sound like Mclusky. Maybe it's broken.

The Notwist are frequently billed as "The German Mclusky"

Faith No More came up with better results. Fantomas, Mr. Bungle, Lovage, et. al

Yeah but even when it's right, you've heard everyone it suggests.

Actually there were a couple for FNM that I haven't heard.

Estradasphere, Elysian Fields, Oren Blowdoe.

And, forgetting for a moment that the hand belongs to an Afro-American, let it ring out that the Senator shall exact great vengence upon ye.

I don't think it's the algorithm, so much as the data.

But yeah, either way, it's kind of ass.
