I tried this with Sigur Ros

ENGLISH TRANSLATION:

Jumpin' puddles

Smiling
Spinning 'round and 'round
Holding hands
The whole world a blur
But you are standing

Soaked
Completely drenched
No rubber boots
Running in us
Want to erupt from a shell

Wind in
Aand outdoor smell of your hair
I hit as fast as I could
With my nose

Jumpinpuddles
Completely drenched
Soaked
With no boots on

And I get nosebleed
But I always get up
(Hopelandic)

And I get nosebleed
But I always get up

Should've left it in Ice/Hoplandic, these might be the worst lyrics I've ever encountered.

I sing along (phomnetically) all the time.
Even to English-language songs that I can't understand.

But just this weekend, I was teaching my son the "words" to a bunch of Tom Zé songs that we were listening to in the car.

"This is weird music, daddy. I like it."
:D

"A frozen and starkly beautiful Chumbawamba landscape..."

(Also, I got the backing vocals to "Games Without Frontiers" nailed)

SNORT!

But it sounds so hauntingly beautiful in Icelandic!
