Kelly Wirth (D) - Corvallis, OR - State Legislator

1. Got involved in a two-year love affair with a 26 year old janitor, Fernando Mendez, who works at the State Capitol

2. Janitor's girlfriend took revenge on her by running her down with her car - putting her in a wheelchair

3. Mendez got a restraining order AGAINST Wirth

4. During the investigation into this incident, the cops found meth in Wirth's car which had been damaged in the run down

5. Wirth is charged with drug possession and resigns

6. Turns out she also was having an affair with a Portland TV news reporter who was assigned to cover the capitol

7. Also comes out that right before she resigned she gave huge raises to everyone on her staff - including her mother who worked for her as a legislative aide

a lot of friggin weird people move here...it draws them in.

but really - weird stuff happens everywhere. you should have seen the shit that went down when I lived in North Carolina...
