Don't listen to the people who are just telling you to check out Tago Mago and Ege Bamyasi. Those are arguably their best albums, but they're also the type of album that people listen to once just long enough to say they like it since they're established "classics" and then ignore the rest of the band's discography. Take Drinky's advice.

Probably, but the mp3 copy I have has a glitch near the end. It's not too bad, though.

It's from the Walkman/Calla split btw.

Well, yeah, I guess, but Ege Bamyasi is a friggin' awesome album. However, I prefer Monster Movie to it in general - it's just incredibly fun to listen to.

For those who care, next set of remasters are due in March 2006, consisting of Flow Motion, Saw Delight, Can, and Delay 1968.

Edited to add: and Rite Time - that's a friggin' weird little album. The Can DVD set is being reissued in January, too, but no mention of whether it will come with the CD or not that the original had. Source

I'm gonna have to dig Sacrilege up and re-rip to mp3. Give me a few days and I'll get a YSI out to y'all.

I thought you could still get the original version. I just got mine earlier this year. The CD isn't that great anyway.

Here's the YSI of Calla covering "Mother Sky":

Vielendanken!

I believe that's how it's spelled -- "Kraut" style, loosely translated as 'many thanks'.
