Otherwise known as sanity.

The past few days/weeks I've been wishing for snow and thinking it would be so excellent and just the right thing to put me into the Christmas mood. I woke up this morning to it and smiled.

I was halfway to my bus stop, muttering to myself "what were you thinking? are you an idiot?" as the wind hit my face so hard that my eyes watered.

I pity no one in Southern Ontario.

As a former resident, I really can't either. It's never that miserable or cold. Now northern Ontario.....

I'd expect someone with nationalized health insurance to say as much.

The nanny-state is not heaven, though.
