They were plagued by injuries last year. They still have great hitters even if the offensive numbers were indicative of that. Plus Sosa was absolutely horrible and he won't be back.

Ponson is gone too, so some other team will claim our Judge Punching Trophy next year.

It's worth noting that the White Sox (the main focus of this thread, frankly) were 9th in the AL, just ahead of the Orioles.

Using that analogy (injured/2-yr stats), Glaus-Gonzalez-Clark-Green = 4 25+ home run hitters in AZ. I don't think that's all that great/intimidating of a lineup...

Point is still the same... and, if Konerko/Thome are both healthy, you don't really have a DH spot to give at bats to another another FA, as they're both strictly first basemen...

What? No, Thome is the DH. Ozuna is Crede's back-up. He hit .276. We will probably still add another back-up infielder anyways.
