Kyle, I'll ask my friends if they have extra tickets. You do realize that if you show up the day of the show, your chances of scoring a ticket are fairly good, right?

That's what I'm thinking...

showing up day-of, or craigslisting next week = 2 fairly reliable options.

Going tomorrow night, cannot wait.

The are playing with Lichens Wed night, I heard a little bit and it is too weird for me, ambient noises and wailing. Lucked out on tickets with the third show added, all 3 shows sold out quickly.

I went to the NY show last night at the Bowery Ballroom; as i expected, it was phenomenal. i don't know of any other bands out there that are doing anything comparable, both in the quality of their melodies and the emotions of their dynamics. this band fucking blows my mind.
they played most of "the earth is not a cold dead place," maybe one or two older tracks and i believe two new tracks. after hearing them once, i admit to being pretty excited for what their next album will sound like, as these songs had a bit more of an edge to them, perhaps not quite as pretty, but just as catchy and more rockin'.
a while ago there was a thread about 'important american bands' or something like that, and there weren't really many good suggestions. even though EITS will probably never find a large or mainstream audience, i think they are one of our best bands, and deserve much more credit than they receive...
enjoy your shows folks, they're going to be real good.

Yea, I'm pretty jealous you guys have seen/will get to see them. They aren't coming anywhere near here in the coming months, it seems.
