Huh? I'm never earnest, so any such accusations are laughable at best.

Yes, "hatred" was too strong a word, but it sounded better when paired with the word "love" later in the sentence.

"I don't get why people really care that we love this show so much."

I set the class record in the "sit and reach" in gym class, so I can be a bit of a contortionist at times.

you people's obsession with this show is starting to concern me.

No shit.

watch it, and you'll understand.

i've watched it plenty----it's fine, a very entertaining show but you guys act like its the fucking alpha and omega of television....

no offense, and i am a huge fan of TV, but ive never seen a show that would prompt me to start a write-in campaign or publically complain if it went away. thats shut-in territory in my book. and speaking of books.....if you feel this passionately about a television program you might consider picking one up every now and again.

shit happens.

Some of us do nothing BUT read books and articles all day long. The last goddamn thing I want to do with some of my leisure time is to pick up another book to "better" myself. I look forward to a couple of shows, AD being one of them. It's a (nearly) guaranteed laugh for 22 minutes which is rewarding enough to moan about its impending absence.

But yeah, shit happens. If it goes, it goes. Life goes on and it's only a dvd away for that rewarding chuckle.
