Nothing wrong with jocks. He was just... It would take way too long to describe him.

I wasn't to be taken seriously, either. The internet does not transmit emotion very well.

and don't worry, I already know there are many things wrong with me. That's what makes me so damn 8) (cool)

What sports did you play? I attempted to play basketball in the 7th grade until I realized I was way too submissive and I always got made fun of by my family for being so nice to my opponents.

Talk away! I'll tell you all I know (not much). but it was a great experience for me.
I loved it there. Wish I was back in NYC.
you seem pretty independent. would probably do very well there. lots of folks with your mindset.

Actually that's all I needed to know. I've been hearing bad things about it.
I won't be able to afford it anyway but it'd be an honor to be completely accepted and be able to go. It's enough of an honor about the portfolio thing. I don't know.
We'll see. It seems like it'd have better connections for job prospects in the end, moreso than the school I want to go to in DC. I don't know what to do.

What do you want to do paint or something like illustration?

I'll be honest with you about Pratt...The education there is what you make it. the key is taking advantage of the school, teachers and most of all the proximity to NYC. that is where the REAL schooling happens. not in a goddam classroom. I can tell by your drawings that you can already draw circles around the kids there already. but it's the other stuff that is what will make or break you. your passion and your ability to communicate through your work. The NYC part is what will give you the polish you will need and also the chutzpah to get what you want and need.

Football and Baseball. Didn't play baseball senior year though, and we won the gotdamn state championship. D'oh!

I suspect it had something to do with the "listen to the station" question.

Ah, silly me -- looking for depth when plain silly child's-play-on-words type humor is where it's at.
