Are you shooting for some kind of indie Mozart Effect?

I would put some quiet Yo La Tengo songs on there. Maybe 'Nowhere Near'?

10,000 Maniacs - "Verdi Cries" (perfectly mellow, and even mentions Aida)

I thought so too. I saw Low with my dad a couple years back, and they played "In Metal". I was blindsided by the significance. It was lost on my dad a bit.

A friend of mine, DJ luv, recently made a mix for his newish daughter. There's a lot of fun stuff on it. I'll see if I can YSI a copy tomorrow.

For a mix...

Russian Hill - Jellyfish
Open Window - Sarah Harmer
