There's an HMV on the corner of 46th and 5th which is having a liquidation sale. Everything they have left is 40% off, and if you look to the left when you walk in there are 2 bins with clearance stuff.

Picked up The Soledad Brothers, "Voice of Treason" for $3.99 (and they had it as a $25 import originally). There were a couple of other copies, along with Dressy Bessy (s/t) and probably some other things of interest.

my ex-roomate worked at the one in Times Square that shut down over a year ago.. They did the same thing....

The night before the big sale, he got me on the employee first go through.. so i got stuff 40% off on top of his employee discount....

I found a few things of interest, but even at 40% off, I couldn't bring myself to buy them.

Is this the last HMV open in NY? I really liked HMV. They had decent prices on things once in a while. They also have those listening booths with 2 head sets, which is pretty useful.
