Since losing to the Chiefs, The Pats have outscored their opponents 100-17 and have only allowed one offensive touchdown.

MNF going to ESPN is a sad offspring of the "synergy" of Disney/ABC/ESPN. Congrats, Now you get Thiesman in the booth paired with Michaels, not to mention Berman and Stuart Scott even more.

The good news I guess is that NBC is getting back in the game. Plus the Sunday night game will become the "prime time game of the week" by default with the MNF going to cable. ...and more importantly, the NFL has agreed to have a floating schedule the last 6 or so weeks of the season to ensure that teams that are still in the hunt garner the prime time slot on Sunday nights.

Still, MNF leaving network tv is a sad thing imo.

Does this mean I don't have to listen to Madden's ramblings anymore?

If so, I'm all for the move.

Madden has shifted to NBC; no play-by-play announcer has been chosen to sit alongside.

It won't be Costas though. He's staying in-studio to anchor the pre-game show, with Collinsworth (who'll move over from the FOX colour booth).

Watching Bob Costas talk about football is like watching the french talk about how they won the war.

I don't recall hating Costas when he did the NFL pregame on the network in the late 80s and early 90s. But I was only ten or so, and didn't know better, prolly.
